Beatriz Ruiz de Cortázar Senra
Bea is a 4th year BA student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Born and raised in Galicia, Bea discovered her passion for international relations and geopolitics when she participated in her high school's MUN. Since she started her university studies, Bea has had the opportunity of being the president of UAM’S MUN Society –UAMIMUN-, and participating in national and international conferences as an awarded delegate and also as a Chair. She also enjoys the organizing part of Model United Nations, which has led her to serve as USG Logistics in AUMUN and Harvard WorldMUN Madrid, as Secretary-General in Sarajevo Model UN and USG Academics in CMUN 2019. Bea is thrilled of having the chance of being Secretary-General in CMUN 15th edition and will work hard along with the rest of the team to make this edition a wonderful and unforgettable experience.
Marta Alfós is a Law and Global Governance student at ESADE, Barcelona. She is fascinated by the functioning of international relations, especially the multilateralism shaped by the current international organizations. Her areas of interest are migration studies, refugee rights, women's empowerment and international development. Furthermore, she is passionate about the Middle East and North Africa region, in which she specializes. Throughout the past years, she has participated in several simulations. She very much enjoyed taking part in C’MUN 2017 and C’MUN 2018 as a delegate. Last year, she was USG for Registration and she liked the experience so much that she decided to get more involved in the organization of C'MUN 2020. She is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the mission of international organizations with the rest of the team and all the participants.
USG for Registration
Aina is a 20-year-old student Law and Global Governance at ESADE, Barcelona. She is really interested in global affairs and diplomacy, specially in the regions of the Middle East and LatAm, as she believes they are regions with a lot of potential. She has participated in C’MUN 2018 and C’MUN 2019 as a delegate, which she found fascinating and enriching. After these experiences, she is looking forward to seeing the other face of a MUN and working to make this edition of CMUN a great one.
USG for Academics
Anna is a 19 year-old student of Political and Administration Sciences and Law at the Pompeu Fabra University. She's very interested in international relations and history, passion that brought her to enter UNSA Barcelona, in which she is now the President. She has been in charge of internal MUN simulations at UNSA to prepare members to participate in real MUNs. She has participated in several MUNs. Being C'MUN her very first conference, she has a special feeling towards it. She works in an enterprise specialized in evaluating projects of International development, cooperation and public policies, where she has mainly worked in areas related with migrations and migrant rights as well as natural resources' exploitation in African countries. She considers herself curious and she always wants to learn new things and take all the chances that she has to improve her skills, meet other people... She is sure that being part of the secretariat of C’MUN 2019 will be a great experience, and she's willing to contribute to make the C’MUN 2020, at least, as exciting and interesting as it was for her the first time she participated in it.
Maria Folk Casanova
USG for Registration
Maria Folk is a 23-year-old student from Barcelona. She is currently studying Law and Global Governance in ESADE. She is really interested in International Relations, above all, international security and defense. She has participated in multiple MUNs as a delegate, including C'MUN 2017, one of the best conferences she has attended, and is hoping these year's C'MUN to be even better.
Marina Tovar Velasco
USG for Social Events
Marina is a 19 year-old student born in a small town called Cervelló but now living in Terrassa. She is cursing her second year of International Relations at la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona - UAB. She discovered her passion and commitment to the MUNs when she started university and since then she has attended various European MUNs as a delegate and as a Chair. Outside her studies, she is passionate about cooking, practising Yoga and Muay-Thay and going to Barcelona on her free time. She thinks that Barcelona is a city full of personality: during the day has a vibrant vives and a crazy nightlife too!
USG for Academics
Rohail is a 22-year-old MA Peace, Conflict and Security Studies Postgraduate at Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull. Rohail attended C’MUN 2017 and has since appreciated the world of MUN, adored the city of Barcelona and importantly wanted to contribute to the C’MUN conference. Rohail has participated in several MUN conferences as a delegate and Chair and served as the General Secretary for EXMUN, his universities MUN society. Rohail is interested in pursuing a career in diplomacy and conflict resolution in the English, Urdu and Spanish speaking world (when he's successfully learnt Spanish of course). Beyond his academic pursuits, Rohail enjoys playing Snooker and Table Tennis uncompetitively (competitively after a few pints) and watching the news and movies. Rohail is tremendously excited to serve as the USG for Academics at C’MUN 2020.
